I've been completely tobacco free for a year. Now I just need to get my wife to make the switch.

She has tried the e-cigs and currently owns a NCig from NPro. She cannot handle the strength of the mod type e-cigs. If she takes a hit from my V2 she'll choke for several minutes. But she seems to do ok with the lower voltage models. The problem is she gets frustrated with the low battery life of the NCig. And basically finds it rather inconvenient to carry around. So she's kind of been back and forth, using the e-cig for a few days and then going back to the real thing.

So I'm wondering if anyone can advise a good low voltage e-cig that has good battery life? I've been looking at the Ace and I'm interested. Based on some of the video reviews I'm a bit concerned that it might pump out too much vapor for her. I also have no experience with the cartridges and such that go with that type of e-cig. How long do they last? How expensive is it to keep them in good supply? Or is the Ace not what I'm looking for? If that's the case does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm assuming that I'd need a 5 volt battery to charge 3.7v batteries, so I've been thinking maybe an old smartphone battery would do the trick. I'd need to be able to charge the internal battery via USB, so I'd need the proper circuitry to do that, as well as the proper circuitry to stop the charge one the 14500 is fully charged.

What do you guys think? To make matters worse, some of the labels have rubbed off. I usually have to go by smell, but one of them honestly smells like motor oil.

Yeah, the blue foam tastes nasty when it burns. It's cheap enough to discard it after it burns and replace it with a new piece instead of washing it out. Also, push down the filler a bit and get it away from tip of the atty.
I like using the Blue Foam filler the MarineLand Bonded Filter Pad that you can buy in the Pet shop. Use the fine material. I cut it in a "T" shape. Thick on top to create a plug effect and the vertical bottom I cut narrow for wicking which leaves room in the cartridge so it holds more juice. So Johnson Creek Smoke Juice sells a e-juice pump. From the reviews I've read they are overpriced and bulky. I ordered one anyway because that's the way I am ;-). Anyway, among the reviews I stumbled across this post on the ECF blogs: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/for...epump-mod.html. And this really sparked more interest for me.

Apparently you can mod the pump to dispense the appropriate drops of liquid by adding a washer to it that will stop the pump from being depressed completely. In the blog post above he was able to dial it in to 2 drops at a time. The pump has a pronounced nozzle on it so you can use that to target the zip tip in the dark or in non-looking situations such as driving. Seems to me that PS could find some of these pumps that fit on their 15ml bottles (and perhaps with locking functionality to secure it in your pocket). You'd be able to order all the 15ml bottles you want and using one of these pumps turn it into the perfect on the go juice bottle. No more dripping needed. If you had the right amount of liquid dispensed with each pump you'd be good to go.

Searching google I found this: http://www.bonanzle.com/booths/beaut...L_0_5_OZ__5012 but I don't know what I would do with 50 of them. Plus I feel like it would just be easier to find just the pump part that actually fit on the PS 15ml bottles. Then you'd know what flavor you had going on and everything.

Just a thought, I'm going to keep an eye out, try out the one I have coming and see what happens there and see if I can find something that hits the nail on the head.

I'm thinking I put the first one on the charger before I put it in the case. I haven't really even used either completely until a couple of nights ago. I put the dead battery on the charger and grabbed the other one. Dead (I thought). Hmmm. Charge it. No good. Long story short, it reads basically the same voltage as the good battery when measuring it using a couple of wires connected to 901 threads and then connected to a 510-901 adapter (just what I have handy), but if you try an atty and screw the atty all the way down, the battery light doesn't come on. If you unscrew the atty some, the battery light works but doesn't fire the atty. I've only tried one 510 atty and a couple of 510 cartos so far, though.
